Obi Asika, Jason Njoku, Femi Longe and Other Industry Leaders to Speak at UK Nigeria SME Summit 
We are very excited about the UK Nigeria SME Summit which holds this Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Victoria Island, Lagos. The Summit, which is produced by Enterprise Creative, will bring together Nigeria's leading digital & creative industry stakeholders for a day of discussion onbusiness issues relevant to UK and Nigerian SMES.

Announcing the Enterprise Creative Legal Advice Clinics!
Enterprise Creative is starting free legal advice clinics for entrepreneurs, beginning from the 16th of April, 2014.  The clinics will be run by Oluwaseun Ajasa and a colleague, and will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to seek one-on-one professional counsel on legal issues that they are facing in their business. 

The first Legal Advice clinic will hold on the 16th of April 2014, with subsequent clinics holding bi-monthly. Spaces are very limited, so hurry to sign up by sending an email toinfo@enterprisecreative.org now.
Selling through Story-telling & Avoiding Legal Traps: A Review of the March Freelance Friday Clinic
The March Freelance Friday was held last week, and started off with a session on Content Marketing led by leading brand strategist and business consultant, David Idagu. He noted that content marketing is tied to the relevance of the content being pushed and advised entrepreneurs to find out the core values of their audience in order to determine content that will be relevant to them.
The second session was led by Mr Oladapo Okupe, Managing Director of pioneer social e-commerce network, 3AL, who spoke about the Impact of Social Commerce on Nigerian Businesses. He explained the unique dynamic between 3AL and First Bank's ecommerce platform, which provides a way for businesses to interact with customers as well as other businesses, and also showed how entrepreneurs can use their existing social media networks to increases awareness and reach of their products and services.
The final session on Legal Traps Startups Should Avoid was facilitated by Oluwaseun Ajasa, Managing Partner with leading legal firm Abraham, Thompson & Co. Starting off the session by emphasizing the need for entrepreneurs to seek legal advice at the earliest stage of the business, Mr Oluwaseun went on to explain why new business owners need to properly define their business structure in terms of business type, employee engagement, and work-product ownership.
