JOHANNESBURG – DJ Black Coffee has made South Africa proud!
He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the BET awards tonight. The south African dj beat MzVee (Ghana), AKA (South Africa), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Serge Beynaud (Cote D’ivoire), Wizkid (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade (Nigeria) to win the Best International Act, Africa category. The presentation was done ahead of the main event which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, June 26. The 2016 BET Awards took place at Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, California
Meanwhile,Nigerian rap artiste, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz has been announced winner of the Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act at the 2016 BET Awards. Falz beat competition from Section Boyz (South London), WSTRN (West London), Emtee (South Africa), Tkay (Australia) and MHD (France).
