The policemen were said to have chased Aigbe’s gold-coloured Honda car with their black Hilux Patrol vehicle but she eventually stopped for traffic light at the Olaiya junction. One of the four policemen ordered the actress to step out of the car and she obliged but her appearance in public glare at the junction attracted a huge crowd of onlookers within a twinkle of an eye.
The crowd kept increasing as the onlookers converged to catch a glimpse of the popular actress who was being quizzed by the policemen after collecting the particulars of her vehicle. The policemen later returned Aigbe’s vehicle particulars and released her to go when they realised that the onlookers were becoming too much.
However, before the actress could leave the scene, another team of policemen stormed the area shooting sporadically. When contacted, the Assistant Police Public Relation Officer, ASP Egbedele Ajibade told our correspondent that it was a minor traffic issue.
