The city of Enugu came
to life last Wednesday, March 16 as Grafton Entertainment artiste, Mr
2Kay stormed Villa Toscana for his highly publicized ‘Count It All Joy’
EP release party.
Mr 2Kay arrived Enugu with an entourage of superstars on the early hours of Wednesday.
Their first stop was at ESUT FM and then to Dream FM for a live chat to
let the city and its environs know that the earlier promoted event was
going to happen for real. Mavin artiste Reekado Banks gave out
20-Thousand-Naira worth of recharge card during the brief radio tour.
Mr
2Kay also met with FX2, one of Nigerian oldest disc jockeys, and he has
delighted to welcome the stars to his home radio station, Dream FM. The
DJ took time to play each song on the ‘Count It All Joy’ EP.
When
Mr 2Kay and the other stars arrived at Villa Toscana, the hall was
already filled to the brim. According to the club manager, “The hall was
filled, with no space to even dance.”
Mr
2Kay took guests on a music trip, serving them with various songs off
the new EP. Reekado Banks, Ketchup, Humble Smith also took turns to
indulge the crowd. Other performances were by Doray, Slow Dogg, Quincy,
Olazee, Ivan Edd, Emekus, Tamara and special appearances by Flavor, Ill
Bliss, Mr Raw and Phyno.
The
‘Count It All Joy’ EP release party kicked off in Lagos at a
well-attended Industry Nite event that featured artistes like Cynthia
Morgan, Humble Smith, Samklef, Ketchup and many others.
