There's a new entertainer in town that's ready to take the world by storm. You've heard her voice on some of the South Africa's biggest tracks as a featured artist but now MelloSoul is ready to fly solo. She's the first artist to be signed under B.A.D Music label and she intends to be their very best.
Born Mamello Eleonora Juqula, now better known as “MelloSoul” on stage. MelloSoul is a South African singer and songwriter born in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal. Her love for music began at the tender age of 6, she grew up listening to R&B, Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz Music. Looking back today, artists that influenced her music immensely include Sade, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and Beyonce.
MelloSoul has worked with a number of South African artists including DJ Fistaz Mixwell. Together, they released one of the hottest house tunes in South Africa titled “I'm Free” which was written by MelloSoul.
Mello’s current single "South West" was in efforts of promoting relations between the regions of Africa using music as a tool. Hence the name "South West", which is representative of South Africa and Nigeria which is where the artists are from, respectively.
