Aye’n soro! Yes, they will talk about Zdon Paporrella’s rise back to the top of Nigeria’s music scene. With his newest song “Aye’n soro (Rise Again)”, Zdon has moved from working behind the scenes back to the forefront of the industry. This upbeat song featuring Faze will not only make you want to move your feet, but will leave you feeling uplifted with its positive message.
When asked about his inspiration for “Aye’n soro”, Zdon replied, “I’d say God inspired the song directly because it was d 1st song ever that came to me with lyrics and not just the melody. When I made up my mind to feature another artiste, Faze’s name popped up in my head immediately. So I just went with my guts.” Going with his guts was the right thing, with God’s inspiration, Zdon has released what is sure to become a timeless hit.
About the artist: Zdon Paporrella is a veteran of the Nigerian music scene. He first arrived as a member of ZIP (Zdon, Icy, and Paul) in 1997. ZIP separated in 2005 and Zdon began his solo career the same year. His debut single “Na U” received widespread airplay. In 2007 “Na U” was followed by “Nonsense” a song that looks critically into the ills of the Nigerian music industry. Zdon Paporrella is currently working on his third CD titled “IAMZDON”. The first single and video released, “My Time” features Mr. Raw Nwanne received widespread airplay.
