NBC has had to release a statement denying rumors that she was fired from its hit competition show “The Voice.”
Buzz surrounding her employment was sparked by a piece in realitytvmagazine.com, which cited a source close to the singer who said, “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on set with her boyfriend.”As for reports that she’s been fired, NBC executive vice-president Paul Telegdy said in a statement: “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.”
“The Voice” premiered in April and became an immediate success. Aguilera will return for season 2 alongside fellow celebrity judges Adam Levine, Cee-lo Green and Blake Shelton
