Akas - ''Efimisile''

Check out his bio, and his music below…. drop a comment. AKAS, real name Peter Igochie Akanu is a talented singer and songwriter with a unique voice and music style. This young man discovered music at a very early age; at 16, he made decision to make music his first option as a career and in 2006, he left his family and friends in Abuja, to pursue his dream in the entertainment capital of Nigeria, Lagos.
During his first year in Lagos, Akas participated in the maiden edition of the West African Idols and made it to the final 25. In that same year, he met a music outfit called Big Dreams Entertainment and started working on a compilation album for the outfit with several artistes. He eventually became the first artiste to get signed to the outfit. In 2010; he released his first 2 singles, “Baby No Time” with American hip-hop act, Maino and “What I Like”.
Fast forward to 2011, the 21-year old Benue state native releases his 3rd single, “Efimisile”, a song with deep and sincere feelings about his life, a song his fans and other music enthusiasts can listen to and relate with.
Akas is an ardent music lover, he spends his days writing and singing to anything he hears. Drawing inspiration from musical icons such as 2face Idibia, R-Kelly and Michael Jackson, Akas is determined to become one of Africa’s most celebrated musicians.
